WinderFurl è un avvolgitore a circuito chiuso per vele
In configurazione base, l’avvolgimento sarà del tipo Bottom-Up, adatto a vele solidali al cavo antitorsione come Code 0 e trinchette, con l’aggiunta del kit GK, TD o FT, diventa un avvolgitore Top-Down per avvolgere vele non inferite come Gennaker e Spi asimmetrici.
Con un unico avvolgitore potrete avvolgere entrambe le vele, semplicemente sostituendo il cavo su cui sono avvolte.

COME E’ FATTO
L’avvolgitore è realizzato COMPLETAMENTE IN ITALIA con i migliori materiali in commercio come l’ alluminio Anticorodal 6082 T6 con anodizzazione dura e l’ acciaio inox 316 L
Per garantire un assoluta affidabilità, la rotazione è affidata a un doppio circuito di sfere in Torlon autolubrificanti ed esenti da manutenzioni e cuscinetti inox per la serie WF6 – WF8 e cuscinetti alto carico stagni per le versioni maggiori WF10, WF12, WF14
Il tamburo di avvolgimento è stato progettato con un grande diametro per ridurre al massimo lo sforzo di rotazione.
La gola del tamburo su cui agisce la cima è stata realizzata in modo che non ci sia la necessità di tenere in forza il circuito durante l’azionamento, ma che allo stesso tempo, la cima si sganci automaticamente dal tamburo durante l’apertura della vela.
Particolare attenzione è stata data al dimensionamento dei cuscinetti interni, capaci di sopportare i carichi dichiarati sia in senso assiale, nella direzione del cavo antitorsione, che in senso radiale dovuti ai carichi provocati dalla penna e dalla mura della vela, per garantire sempre la massima scorrevolezza e il minor carico torsionale del cavo.
DOTAZIONI e OPTIONAL
L’avvolgitore base WF comprende il tamburo avvolgitore e la testa girevole con attacchi a grillo, questa versione è adatta per avvolgere Code 0, Drifter, Reacher, A0 e Trinchette, con solamente l’aggiunta della cima di avvolgimento a circuito chiuso.
All’avvolgitore base è possibile aggiungere il kit GK, TD o il kit FT (vedere nel catalogo le differenze). che comprende l’attacco della mura in folle e il morsetto rapido di aggancio del cavo antitorsione, con uno di questi kit è possibile avvolgere, Gennaker e tutta la serie di Spi asimmetrici non solidali al cavo antitorsione con avvolgimento di tipo top-down.
Nelle versioni WF10 WF12 e WF14 è possibile installare il kit BR che permette il blocco della rotazione del tamburo con sblocco fisso o comandato dal pozzetto.
Il loop del circuito di cima di avvolgimento ad anello chiuso, viene venduto separatamente in misure di lunghezza standard a seconda dei modelli, per soddisfare ogni esigenza, ma a richiesta può essere fornito anche di lunghezza personalizzata, nella fornitura del loop è compreso anche il rinvio da attaccate in coperta vicino a dove si intende operare la manovra di avvolgimento, composto da ring in alluminio e moschettone di aggancio rapido.
Il cavo antitorsione AT viene venduto al metro, ed è fornito con impiombatura su redancia per l’attacco alla testa girevole e l’altra estremità libera per essere tagliata a misura e inserita nell’apposito morsetto.
E’ possibile dotare l’avvolgitore anche di altri pratici optional come, il moschettone rapido per facilitare l’aggancio sul bompresso, i bozzelli doppi per candelieri per guidare il circuito di avvolgimento e il bozzello per parancare la drizza o la mura .

Novità 2023 WFR
Nuova linea di avvolgitori WFR con sistema ratchet di blocco automatico della rotazione in un senso.
Questi nuovi avvolgitori, nascono dall’esperienza della linea WF aumentando ulteriormente l’efficienza, grazie a un sistema ratchet a cricchetto, questo evita che il cavo antitorsione, dopo essere stato caricato coma una molla durante l’avvolgimento della vela, ritorni indietro in senso contrario, se si interrompe l’azione o si lasca la cima a circuito chiuso mentre si sta avvolgendo, annodando la vela allo strallo e bloccando la riapertura successiva.
Il sistema ratchet evita anche la riapertura involontaria della vela durantte l’issata e ammainata o se si vuole lasciare la vela armata per più tempo.
Per l’apertura della vela, prima di agire sulla scotta come negli avvolgitori tradizionali, si dovrà tenere in tensione la cimetta di sblocco o agire sulla leva posta sotto al tamburo, portandola nella posizione di sblocco.
Il sistema rachet può essere anche eslcuso tramite l’apposita levetta.
Gli avvolgitori della linea WFR si differenziano rispetto alla linea WF dalla presenza di cuscinetti in Torlon autolubrificanti ed esenti da manutenzione.
Anche i WFR, come tutti gli avvolgitori di nostra produzione, si differenziano dalla maggior parte della concorrenza per la presenza di cuscinatti anche radiali nella girella, capaci di sopportare i carichi obliqui dovuti al tiro della balumina.
Un altra novità di questi avvolgitori e la presenza di guance in polimero sull’attacco dello strallo al fine di evitare lesioni sul cavo in tessile.
Gli avvolgitori WFR sono disponibili anche con attacco per la mura in folle integrato (WFR TD) adatto all’avvolgimanti Top-Down.

WinderFurl is a closed loop winder for sails
In the basic configuration, the winding will be of the Bottom-Up type, suitable for sails integral with the anti-torsion cable as Code 0 and stay sails, with the addition of the GK, TD or FT kit, it becomes a Top-Down winder to wrap non-sails inferences like asymmetric Gennaker and Spi.
With a single winder you can wrap both sails, simply by replacing the cable on which they are wound.
The winder is made COMPLETELY IN ITALY with the best materials on the market such as Anticorodal 6082 T6 aluminum with hard anodizing and 316 L stainless steel
To guarantee absolute reliability, the rotation is entrusted to a double circuit of Torlon balls, self-lubricating and free from maintenance and stainless steel bearings for the WF6 – WF8 series and high load bearings for the larger versions WF10, WF12, WF14
The winding drum has been designed with a large diameter to reduce rotation effort to a minimum.
The throat of the drum on which the top acts is made so that there is no need to keep the circuit in force during the drive, but at the same time, the top automatically disengages from the drum during the opening of the sail .
Particular attention has been given to the sizing of the internal bearings, able to withstand the loads declared both axially, in the direction of the anti-torsion cable, and in the radial direction due to the loads caused by the pen and the sail’s walls, to always guarantee maximum smoothness and the lowest torsional load of the cable.
EQUIPMENT and OPTIONAL
The base winder WF includes the winding drum and the rotating head with shackle connections. This version is suitable for wrapping Code 0, Drifter, Reacher, A0 and Trinchette, with only the addition of the closed loop winding top.
The GK, TD or FT kit can be added to the basic winder (see the differences in the catalog). which includes the attack of the walls in neutral and the quick clamp of coupling of the anti-torsion cable, with one of these kits it is possible to wrap, Gennaker and the whole series of asymmetric Spi not integral to the anti-torsion cable with top-down winding.
In the WF10 WF12 and WF14 versions it is possible to install the BR kit which allows the drum rotation to be blocked with a fixed release or controlled from the sump.
The loop of the closed loop winding top circuit is sold separately in standard length measurements according to the models, to satisfy every need, but on request it can also be supplied with customized length, the loop is also included in the delivery of the loop to be attached to the deck close to where you intend to operate the winding maneuver, consisting of an aluminum ring and a quick-release carabiner.
The anti-torsion cable AT is sold by the meter, and is supplied with a spline fitting for the swivel head attachment and the other free end to be cut to size and inserted into the appropriate clamp.
It is also possible to equip the winder with other practical options such as, the quick carabiner to facilitate the hooking on the bowsprit, the double blocks for chandeliers to guide the winding circuit and the block to parry the halyard or the wall.

New line of WFR winders with ratchet system for automatic blocking of rotation in one direction. These new winders are born from the experience of the WF line, further increasing efficiency, thanks to a ratchet system, this prevents the cable from twisting, after being loaded like a spring during the furling of the sail, it returns back in the opposite direction, if the action is interrupted or the line is left closed while it is being furled, knotting the sail to the forestay and blocking the subsequent reopening The ratchet system also avoids the involuntary reopening of the sail during hoisting and lowering or if you want to leave the sail rigged for longer.
To open the sail, before acting on the sheet as in traditional furlers, you will have to keep in tension the release rope or act on the lever located under the drum, bringing it to the release position. The rachet system can also be excluded using the appropriate lever.
The winders of the WFR line differ from the WF line by the presence of Torlon bearings self-lubricating and maintenance-free. Even the WFRs, like all the furlers we produce, differ from most of the competition due to the presence of radial bearings in the swivel, capable of withstanding the oblique loads due to the pull of the leech.
Another novelty of these furlers and the presence of polymer cheeks on the stay attachment in order to avoid injuries on the textile cable. The WFR furlers are also available with integrated free tack attachment (WFR TD) suitable for the Top-Down furler .
